Christel Assante is a french artist who grew up without any artistic education and creates sculptures from eggs. What inspires her art out of eggs is the idea of symbols that are transformed into a 3D environment. Her art is made out of emu, ostrich, nandu, goose, pheasant, duck & quail eggs, although she prefers nandu eggs that are thicker than the rest. One egg sculpture can take up to 50 hours to make! Amazing when you think about how easily an egg can break...
